The S/H2.5 is designed to resist seismic and wind forces in cold-formed steel applications. These single-sided hurricane ties form part of a continuous load path for both lateral and uplift loads. The S/H2.5 is made for moderate loads at the rafter/truss, while the S/H3 is made for moderate loads at the rafter/truss-to-top-track connection.
